Article 2: The eco-pioneering Spirit

The above article is about 'green is the new black.' It discusses several companies that have advanced in eco-design such as Interface, Bluescope Steel, Air Cell and Rockcote. The underlying factor in the three companies is a reduction of formaldehyde volatile organic compounds (VOC). It is about thinking of the long term value in sustainable design, which reduces the cost of the cost over the structures lifetime. It discusses how the market is now demanding more eco-friendly products in every field, not just construction and how green credentials are increasingly becoming thought of as a requirement, not an added extra.
